DOCTOR
OF MEDICINE (MD)
The General Medicine
program is listed by the WHO and it is recognized without
any licensing examinations in all European Union countries
(applies to the nationals of the member states).
The program leading
to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, consists of six
years: two years of general medical studies, three years
of clinical studies and one year of a rotating internship.
| These
universities accept motivated candidates for the
medical program with a solid background in Biology
and Chemistry. In addition, the applicants have
to pass an entrance exam in English as well. The
application deadline is in April and the course
starts in September. Entrance exams are arranged
at several locations in Europe, Israel, North America,
Asia and Africa. Entrance exams can be arranged
in Delhi for students from India. |

There are three government universities in Hungary which
accept international students for medicine. They are:
Semmelweis University, Szeged University and Pecs University.
You can select any university you like depending on
your choice - studying in a busy metropolis, or choosing
a more peaceful university town, where groups are smaller
and life is more relaxed.
In short, you have the choices of three medical universities
at different environments with the same quality of education.
